Wisma Wah Chan faced significant challenges due to external wall cracks, which not only affected the building’s appearance but, more importantly, caused water leakage issues as it allowed external rain water to penetrate through into the building.
02. Solution
Dritech recommended a comprehensive rectification solution that included widening the cracks and patching them with Stucco-Repair 1000, followed by the application of Dri-Gard AP 7000 as a primer. To enhance the durability of the coating, Super Fibre R45 tissue fibre mat was installed, and finally, Dri-Gard AC 800, a low VOC elastomeric coating, was applied.
03. FINAL OUTCOME
This meticulous approach successfully repaired the external wall cracks, mitigating the risk of future issues while significantly enhancing the building’s aesthetics.
