01. challenge:

Serambi Villa, an enclave of lakeside homes inspired by Malay architecture design, is part of SP Setia’s development in Setia Alamsari. It consists of a collection of 41 luxurious residences & inspiration for its architecture is mainly drawn from the rich aesthetics of Malay architecture, such as Rumah Perak with its elaborate roofs and earthy tones.

Building a home and township is no easy feat, and one of the key concerns of this development is to ensure that risk of water leakages are eliminated, so to protect these homes from defects and water damages in the future.

02. SOLUTION:

Dritech has proposed a variety of innovative, mono-component & non-toxic waterproofing systems that are suitable to be used in the Serambi Villas. These include: 

  • Dri-Lastic WP 20, mono-component rubberized pigmented acrylic waterproofing:
    Used to replace conventional cementitious waterproofing materials that are prone to mixing errors, installation defects & poses difficulties during the QA/QC process 
  • Super Lastic S600 (High Build System), mono-component, water-based UV-resistant PU hybrid waterproofing:
    With its excellent weather & UV-resistance, this waterproofing system acts as the finishing coat on car porch roofs as well. It provides an aesthetical finish, while reducing the sight of unsightly cracks with its fiber-reinforcement.
  • Super Lastic S800 (High Build System), mono-component, water-based PU bitumen waterproofing:
    Proven waterproofing system that provides excellent tensile & elongation results to protect RC roofs and many other areas.
