01. Challenge
The Merdeka PNB 118 project encountered significant challenges with leveling 2 basement car park levels, covering a total area of approximately 10,000 sqft. An effective solution was needed to solve this issue, ensuring that the substrate is levelled & able to withstand mechanical load from high vehicle traffic conditions.
02. SOLUTION
Dritech Chemicals recommended the application of Dri-Floor EP 1000, a solvent-free epoxy primer, onto the prepared concrete substrate. This was followed by the installation of Dri-Floor MT 1100, a moisture-tolerant epoxy leveling mortar, applied at a thickness of 5-8mm to achieve the levelling requirements. This combination ensured a stable and level surface that could withstand the demanding conditions of the car park basement.
03. FINAL OUTCOME
The successful leveling of the basement floors resulted in a reliable and durable surface that meets the project’s operational needs. The combination of Dri-Floor EP 1000 and Dri-Floor MT 1100 ensured optimal performance.
