01. CHALLENGE
Nilai Impian, a development by Sime Darby Properties in Negeri Sembilan, consists of multiple phases of residential units. These residential homes require a durable waterproofing system for various areas, such as their internal wet areas, air con ledges, water tank slabs, and so on.
02. SOLUTION
Dritech has proposed a variety of innovative, mono-component & non-toxic waterproofing systems that are suitable to be used in the Nilai Impian development. One of our key solutions provided was Dri-Lastic WP 20.
This is a water-based, rubberized acrylic waterproofing material that is able to replace conventional cementitious waterproofing for various wet areas. Besides being able to improve housekeeping and reduce risks of defects/wastage at site (due to its mono-component properties which do not require mixing at site), it is also able to ease QA/QC procedures at site due to its green pigment. Any areas with insufficient consumption or application errors can be easily detected and rectified accordingly.
03. FINAL OUTCOME
The project was completed successfully using waterproofing systems from Dritech Chemicals. The end result includes:
- Effective & durable waterproofing with up to 10 years warranty
- Water-based & non-toxic formulation
- mono-component materials reduces risk of mixing errors
- easy qa/qc with pigmented waterproofing systems
- reduces material wastage
- minimizes risk of defects at site
