01. CHALLENGE
At EkoCheras Residence, the corridors had previously been coated with materials that stained easily, detracting from the overall aesthetics and making cleaning a challenge due to contaminants that penetrated the surface.
02. SOLUTION
Dritech Chemicals proposed a high-performance floor coating system that featured excellent stain resistance. The solution involved recoating the corridors with Dri-Floor EP 1000, a solvent-free epoxy primer, followed by Dri-Floor UV 9000, a UV-resistant aliphatic polyurethane colored floor coating.
Prior to reapplication, trials were conducted to confirm the stain resistance of the selected coatings, ensuring optimal performance.
Results from the trial has shown that Dri-Floor System has excellent stain and abrasion resistance. As such, work commenced by first removing all existing coating on the surface & preparing the substrate appropriately. After that, Dri-Floor EP 1000 and Dri-Floor UV 9000 is applied.
